Institute of Rural Management Anand is located at the headquarters of Anand District, Gujarat, India. The district has a population of about 400,000. It is located about 35 k.m. northwest of VADODARA CITY (also known as ‘Baroda’ and ‘Banyan City’) and 90 k.m. southeast of Ahmedabad city. Anand Town is known as the ‘Milk City’ of India.

The nearest airports are at Vadodara (National) and Ahmedabad (International). The Ahmedabad airport is internationally well-connected, having direct connections to US, UK and countries like UAE.

On an average the taxis charge around INR 1800 from Vadodara Airport and around INR 2800 from Ahmedabad Airport to reach IRMA Campus. How to reach Anand by Rail/Road
Anand is well connected by rail and road has a railway station. One can also reach Anand by a changeover at Ahmedabad or Vadodara railway stations and take local trains to Anand. The State Transport Bus Stations are located very close to these railway stations and there are regular bus services to Anand. One can also hire taxis and auto-rickshaws from the railway stations.
The IRMA campus is about 3 k.m. from the Anand Railway and Bus Stations and can be reached by auto-rickshaws at a reasonable charge of upto INR 100 (current rates).
