Tanya Sinha and Prerakkumar Shah (Team Saksham), participants from the 39th batch of PGDRM, IRMA’s flagship programme, have secured Third position in Coopathon 2.0, organized by International Co-operative Alliance - Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP) and co-hosted by IRMA’s Verghese Kurien Centre of Excellence (VKCoE). The national-level competition, to hack out community-led enterprise solutions using the cooperative model, was held at National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi.
Team Saksham proposed a portal to develop cooperatives through targeted assistance. The participants used their problem-solving abilities to address some of the pressing problems that co-operatives face in addressing the needs of their members and community.
The competition also saw participation from two other teams from PGDRM 39.
Prof Harekrishna Misra, Chair, VKCoE, was also present at the event.
