World Environment Day at IRMA

IRMA launched a tree plantation drive in a bid to celebrate the World Environment Day on May 30, 2018. This is ahead of the date set by the United Nations, which is June 5, 2018.

It may be recalled that India is the official host of the World Environment Day this year. The theme this year being ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, IRMA took the pledge to discard the use of plastic while stepping up efforts to green the campus. Water was served in paper, as opposed to plastic, cups even as the entire IRMA community wearing white caps bearing the IRMA logo got together to plant saplings throughout the campus.
