Prof. Harekrishna Misra has been nominated as member to the Governing Council of the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer's welfare and under the chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture, Government of India. The National Council for Cooperative Training, it may be mentioned, was set up by the National Cooperative Union of India in 1962. The Government of India, in its order dated February 22, 2018 established NCCT as an independent, central and professional body. The chief objective of the Council is to organize need-based training and facilitating the process of human resource development for the country's cooperatives.
Prof. Misra has also been nominated to the management committee of the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RCIM), Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The RCIM is a constituent institute under the NCCT.
