IRMA alumni, staff and PRM participants joined hands together to pray for Kerala, which has been hit by the worst floods in a century. The state has been ravaged over the past two weeks, leaving over 300 people dead and more than a million displaced.
To reach out to the flood victims and support them, Ashish Agarwal, an alumnus of the 33rd PRM batch of IRMA who works with Manav Sadhna, a non-profit organization based out of the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad, has started a donation drive. This involved sending a truck full of essential commodities to Kerala.
IRMA community has shown their solidarity by sending a total of 32 cartons of essential items like food, clothes, baby food, medicines, sanitary napkins, diapers, footwear, and toiletries. A sizable sum was also donated to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
IRMA thanks everyone for their stupendous efforts and wishes that Kerala recovers from this calamity, knowing that in any hour of need, help is at hand for her.
