IRMA organized a one-day brainstorming workshop on 27th July, 2019. The workshop aimed at discussing the current scenario, contemporary challenges, and potential opportunities for the Institute to have a larger role in policy analysis, advocacy and implementation at State, National and International levels.
The workshop had representatives from Government of Gujarat, NITI Aayog, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), AMUL Dairy, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), International Water Management Institute (IWMI), National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd (NCDFI) along with faculty members from IRMA.
It culminated with consolidation of ideas around leveraging IRMA’s strength in academic excellence, its network (Alumni, faculty members, clients), wide and varied experience in Research, the Institute’s specific expertise in Rural Research, Dairy Management, and Natural Resource Management through a unique mix of academicians and practitioners as faculty members.
