Dr. Shivam Kushwaha (Brief Bio)
  • Dr. Shivam Kushwaha is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) Gujarat in the area of Production Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques (POM&QT).

    He received his PhD from the Department of Management Sciences, formerly known as the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering (IME), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. He holds a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad. He is also UGC-NET qualified and holds a Six Sigma green belt.  He conducted and taught several workshops for government organisations.

    Before joining IRMA, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow (JIML). He has more than four years of academic experience. His research interests are Efficiency and Productivity Analysis, Transportation Economics, Data Envelopment Analysis and Multi-Criteria Decision Making. His work appeared in international repute journals listed in ABS, ABDC, and Web of Science, specifically related to efficiency optimisation, Operations Research, and Socio-Economic Development.

    His teaching interests include business statistics, data analytics, research methods, productivity and efficiency analysis, multi-criteria decision-making, and operations research.
