                                              National Entrepreneurship Awards

IRMA is the regional partner for National Entrepreneurship Awards, instituted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for Gujarat, Rajasthan, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu.  These awards recognize and honour young entrepreneurs and their ecosystem builders for catalysing a cultural shift in the youth pertinent to entrepreneurship in our country.

The awards were facilitated by

ISEED (Incubator for Social Enterprises and Entrepreneurs Development), IRMA’s incubator with an exclusive focus on rural, social and collective enterprises. ISEED successfully accomplished its two-month intensive exercise of creating awareness through 29 roadshows, discussions, and online and print advertisements. It did so by screening over 800 applications in the first round, 33 per cent more than last year, to select 106 enterprises across all the categories for verification through field visits and phone calls. Eighty-one applications across all categories were presented to the regional jury out of which 47 were promoted to be judged by national-level experts.

ISEED’s ecosystem partner, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India), won the ecosystem builders’ awards in the "promoters of rural producer enterprises" category. Sickle Innovation, Tatkalorry and Invent India, from Gujarat, won the enterprise awards in their respective categories. The awards ceremony was held on November 9, 2019 in New Delhi.
