Meet Sharma, PRM 38 visited JAPAN from 27th November to 5th December 2017 as a part of JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) program to represent IRMA and Indian youth at global level.
The JENESYS Programme is a project advanced by the Japanese government from the standpoint of providing a sound foundation for strong solidarity within Asia through large-scale youth exchange. Total of 16 participants pursuing post-graduation from various institutes of India participated in the program. The 10-day program included visits to various advanced technology galleries like TEPIA, lectures on public policy making in Japan, homestay in Akita prefecture (state) of Japan, cultural programs, university visits etc. The program culminated with workshop and presentation on participants experience and perceptions for japan before and after the program.
An IRMAn always leads from the front. Apart from being a JENESYS participant, Meet showcased leadership skill by taking role as a group leader for India.
IRMA is about possibilities and opportunities, not only in rural sector and national level, but also at the international level. This year, the 38th PRM batch consists of participants from SAARC countries.
