Shri Kishore C. Supekar is presently working as Managing Director of National Co-Operative Dairy Federation of India Limited (NCDFI), Anand, Gujarat since June 2009. It is the Apex body of all dairy co-operatives in India. It works for strengthening the relationship between different stake holders in the cooperative sector and promoting institutional marketing to central organizations like the Ministry of Defense and the Railways. He also holds the position of Governing council member in the Board of Governors of Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA)
He is instrumental for leading NCDFI team in its new venture since 2015 i.e NCDFI eMarket. NCDFI eMarket is a software based ePlatform for transparent transaction between seller and buyer on real time basis. During the financial year 2018-19 NCDFI eMarket achieved turnover of Rs.1010 crore while total turnover of NCDFI was Rs.2177 crore.
Shri Supekar is a Post Graduate in Agronomy from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Viswa Vidhyalay, Jabalpur with Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA).
Shri Supekar launched his career in Bank of India for three years after his Post Graduation. He was involved in Implementation of scheme of finance to weaker section of society through “20 Point Programme” of Government of India and he has successfully handled scheme of financing to Agriculture and Dairy Sector.
Shri Supekar was Associated with National Dairy Development Board for the last 35 years in the field of institutional development, Operation Flood project and commercial functions in Dhara/Mother dairy Fruits & Vegetables Pvt. Ltd.. He has also acted as board member of various dairy cooperative unions/Oil Unions. He has been a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Task force for the Dairy Industry.
